To The Editor:

The 2025 municipal elections felt different in Newtown. Voters were more engaged, conversations were more hopeful, and there was a renewed sense that local leadership matters. Brandon played a major role in that shift.

He worked tirelessly to support candidates who value strong public education, understand the realities facing working families, and believe government should be responsive and accessible.

What stood out to me was how Brandon helped reenergize people who had grown frustrated with political division. He brought people back into the process by focusing on shared priorities that unify us. That kind of commitment speaks volumes about who he is.

As a real estate professional, I see every day how policy choices affect whether families can afford to stay in Newtown and whether young people can envision building their lives here. Housing, schools, and economic opportunity are deeply connected. Brandon understands that relationship, and he spent the past year helping elect leaders who are prepared to address those challenges head-on.

Brandon embodies a new generation of Democrats who are motivated by public service. He brings a rare and welcome level of energy, optimism. He listens, he organizes, and he follows through. That combination is badly needed in these times of political divisiveness.

Newtown deserves representation in Hartford that reflects where we are going, not where we have been. We need leaders who will fight for affordability, opportunity, and families who are working hard to get ahead.

I am proud to support Brandon to be Newtown’s State Representative. He is a thoughtful leader, a trusted friend, and someone who will represent Newtown with integrity and heart.
