Financing A Small Business

SHELTON –– SCORE 471 Greater Bridgeport will hold a no-fee workshop “Financing Small Business – A Bank Perspective” on February 11 at the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, 900 Bridgeport Avenue.

Registration will be at 6:30 pm followed by the presentation at 7.

The guest speaker will be Gerald Steinberg, business development officer at Valley National Bank. Topics to be covered include types of financing programs available to small business, uses of financing, what banks look for in evaluating loan requests, and the uses and benefits of the US Small Business Administration (SBA) programs.

SCORE is a nonprofit public service organization of volunteer business consultants, formerly known as the Service Corps of Retired Executives. It is a resource partner with the SBA.
