FARMINGTON â Middle-school girls are invited to participate in three summer programs at Miss Porterâs School. Girls entering grades 7 to 9 can join summer boarding programs that combine academics, athletics, field trips and recreational activities, with the opportunity to make new friends.

Arts Alive! â June 27âJuly 23, the program features hands-on activities in the studio, performing. and literary arts. Girls will explore the theme of identity through activities including poem-writing, creating figure drawing, and improvising a character on the stage. Summer Challenge â June 27âJuly 23, this program teaches girls about science, math, and technology through exploration of fun topics including âAnimal, Vegetable or Mineral?â and âWhere in the Solar System isâ¦?â The program emphasizes hands-on education and problem solving and field trips to scientific sites in New England.
