Lillian L. Sorrell
Lillian Lucy Sorrell, 83, of Redding, formerly of Liverpool, England, died Sunday at Ashlar of Newtown. She was the wife of Joseph M. Sorrell of Newtown.
Mrs Sorrell was born on June 8, 1917, in Liverpool, England, a daughter of the late William and Florence (Wood) Marston. She lived most of her life in England, working as an administrator for Clarks of England. In 1968, she emigrated to the United States with her husband and youngest daughter. Mrs Sorrell also worked as an office administrator for MBI of Norwalk. She was an aspiring artist, and her hobby was music.
A loving mother and grandmother, Mrs Sorrell is survived by three daughters, Janet Ross of Redding, Joyce Zink of Maryland, and Lynne Richards of Redding; three loving sons-in-law; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Auntie Lil will be missed by all of her loving family in England.

Services were held at the convenience of the family.
The Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, was in charge of arrangements.
