Glebe House Winter Lecture

WOODBURY  — The Glebe Museum and Gertrude Jekyll Garden will host the final in its series of winter lectures on April 1. The programs could have been attended as a full series or enjoyed as individual interests.

On April 1 at 4 pm, Graham Dillamore will discuss “The Restoration of the King’s Privy Garden at Hampton Court Palace.” The lecture, co-sponsored by Royal Oak Foundation, will tell the story of the remarkable transformation of William III’s 1702 Privy Garden at the palace, one of the most ambitious garden restoration projects ever pursued.

Mr Dillamore is deputy estates and garden manager for Hampton Court Palace and was intimately connected with the garden restoration project.

The lecture be at St Paul’s Parish House, on Main Street (Route 6) in Woodbury. Admission is $12 per person. For reservations and further information, call the Glebe House Museum at 203/263-2855.
