Newtown High Schoolâs boysâ swimming and diving team defeated visiting Joel Barlow of Redding 101-77 on Tuesday. Results are as follows:

âThis was a great team win. I have really begun to see the guysâ hard work paying off. We have a couple tough meets coming up so weâll see where we can go from here,â said Newtown Coach Zach Gauvin, whose team â following two weeks off from meet action â hosts Weston on February 7 and entertains Staples of Westport on February 10 â both at 4 pm.
The Nighthawks will have their final home meet of the regular season on February 15 when New Milford visits. The slate concludes February 17 at New Fairfield.
