Loving Husband     And Father

Richard R. Miller, 79, husband of Sharon (Sherburne) Miller of Sandy Hook, died January 20, in St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport, after a long illness. He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., May 4, 1931, a son of Anna (Gastel) and Irving M. Miller.

Mr Miller was a longtime store man for AT&T in the New York and New England corridor, until his retirement. He was a longtime member of Hiram Masonic Lodge #18 AF & AM in Sandy Hook.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his children, Mark Miller, and his wife P.J., of Derby, Robert Leno, and his wife Lisa, of New Milford, Chris Sherburne. and his wife Chrisi, of Orlando, Fla., and Karen Bolduc of Sooke, British Columbia, Canada; a sister, Marlene Slavin of New Milford, N.J.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services took place January 25, in the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown. Interment will be private.
