Young Writers’ Competition Available For Newtown Students

Announced this week by Newtown High School, the Connecticut Young Writers Competition is open to high school writers and poets. The competition is in its 14th year, and recognizes Connecticut students for their writing ability and provides and opportunity to win cash prizes in its statewide competition.

It is a collaboration of the Connecticut Young Writers Trust and the Connecticut State University System, with the support of the Family Trust of Glastonbury business consultant Matt Daly, according to the school.
