Panel On Teens And Substance Abuse

The Newtown High School PTSA is sponsoring a community panel about teenagers and substance abuse on Wednesday, February 7, at 7:30 pm in the Lecture Hall.

The program is entitled “An Informative Community Panel: Substance and Today’s Teens.” Panel members include William Manfredonia, NHS principal; Judy Blanchard, health coordinator; Bob Koetsch and Gladys Pisianti, officers; Pam Crowcroft, certified drug counselor; Steve Gordon, Newtown Congregational Church minister; and Newtown Youth Services.

The panel will address helping teens make good decisions, signs and symptoms, and legal issues. There will be a drug board and a question and answer time.
