Aunt Park Lane

Police report several acts of vandalism along Aunt Park Lane in the Hattertown section. At about 12:20 am January 25, police learned that two male youths had been spotted in the area and may have damaged three residential mailboxes along the street.

Police also found that someone had thrown raw eggs onto the windshield of a vehicle there. Police are investigating and ask anyone with information on the criminal mischief to contact them at 426-5841 or 270-8888.

Washington Avenue

Police report that motorist Robert Miller, 58, of New Haven was driving a 1999 Ford pickup truck on Washington Avenue on the afternoon of January 25 which bore the marker plates that belonged on a 1981 International truck.

Police charged Miller with misuse of marker plates and with driving an unregistered vehicle. Miller is scheduled to appear in court February 5 to answer the charges.
