Schaedler Joins First Connecticut Mortgage

SOUTHBURY — Angela Schaedler, a resident of Newtown since 1991, has joined the team of First Connecticut Mortgage in Playhouse Corner as senior mortgage consultant. She brings 15 years’ experience in mortgage finance and professional customer care.

Ms Schaedler graduated from Bethel High School in 1983. She attended Teikyo Post University from 1993 until 1998, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She began working for Duracell Inc. in 1992, first in consumer relations and then sales until late 1998.

In 2000 she went into the mortgage business with Danbury Mortgage. She is a member of the Newtown Board of Realtors, Northern Fairfield Board of Realtors/Connecticut Board and a member of the Woman’s Council of Realtors in the Greater Fairfield and Laurel chapters.

Ms Schraedler and her husband, Tom, a Newtown native, have four daughters: Kathryn 9, Rebecca 8, and Julie 5, who attend Middle Gate School, and Christine, 3, who attends The Children’s Adventure Center.

Ms Schraedler is in her third year on the board of directors of The Children’s Adventure Center. She also volunteers with an animal rescue group, Truck n’ Paws, to help transport adopted animals to their new homes across the United States.
