Mary M. Pisanelli

Mary M. Pisanelli, 79, of Bridgeport, wife of the late John D. Pisanelli, died February 6 in St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport, following a long illness.

She was the sister of Rudy Anzoletti of Sandy Hook.

Born in Bridgeport on May 24, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Sabbatino and Martha (Guerra) Anzoletti. Mrs Pisanelli was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Bridgeport.

She is also survived by her children, John Pisanelli, Sr, of Derby, William Anzoletti, John Santos, and Joseph Santos, all of Milford, Val Santos of Pennsylvania, and Sam Santos of Shelton, and Donna Dapp of Bridgeport; a brother, John “Pee Wee” Anzoletti of Bridgeport, and a sister, Josephine Granchelli of Bridgeport. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services took place February 9 from the Spadaccino Funeral Home, 499 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Ambrose Church, 1596 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
