To the Editor:

I would like to offer a simple, yet heartfelt, “thank you” to the doctors and staff of Mt. Pleasant Hospital for Animals.  This past weekend, a rabies clinic was offered for dogs and cats at a cost of $20.  The timing was perfect for one of our dogs to get his shot, so off we went.

We are not clients but were warmly welcomed.  Everyone was friendly and very informative regarding various services about which I inquired.  Another rabies clinic will be held on Saturday, February 21 from 1 to 3 pm.  No appointments are necessary.

Our “family” was greeted with a smile.  I’m guessing yours will be too!
