ALLENTOWN, PENN. — The Allentown Museum of Art will present the program, “Art After Hours: Picture This…” on Thursday, March 13, from 5:30 to 8 pm, in conjunction with the exhibition, “Memphis Blues: Photographs by Ernest C. Withers.”

Elvis, B.B. King, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles and James Brown are in the house. Candid insider photographs by Ernest C. Withers, considered one of America’s most important photographers, set the stage for a stroll down memory lane to a time when Memphis was a Mecca for the jazz and blues scene.
