Many Helping Hands
To the Editor:
For two years, the wonderful people at Tier One have contributed warehouse space to the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission. This past weekend, when the Everwonder Children’s Museum expanded into our space, the fine people at Tier One again came through once again, providing us with alternate warehouse space.
The move, headed up by commission member Rob Kaiser, could not have been completed so quickly and thoroughly without the help of Dan Holmes of Holmes Fine Gardens and his truck and Lee Schull of the Avielle Foundation.
We would also like to thank commission members Jennifer Rogers and Donna Mangiafico and Jen’s husband, Ed. We thank Julia Provey, the 2014 winner of the logo competition for the Newtown Arts Festival as well as Arts Festival Chairman Terry Sagedy for their help.
What clearly was a huge job was finished in a day thanks to so many helping hands. We thank Tier One for its continued support as the commission continues its work supporting the Arts Community in Newtown.
