Newtown Police Department is committed to building trust and transparency and will host an open house offering residents a tour of the facility and a behind-the-scenes look at department operations. The open house will take place on Tuesday, February 17, at 6 pm, at Newtown Police Department, 191 South Main Street.

The event will educate residents about the services provided, current staffing challenges, and the department’s mission and vision for the future.

The evening will also include an update on the Town of Newtown’s participation in the Safe Streets for All program, which addresses safety-related needs and deficiencies within the town’s roadway network, including current corrective plans and potential future improvements.
