Remembering Autos, In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Library invites automobile aficionados of any age to take a trip back in time and remember the days of long ago. On Wednesday, February 23, from 3 to 4 pm, the library will remember the next program in its Remembering series, “Remembering Automobiles.”

Participants can join or listen in on a discussion of cars, travels, and the history of cars, from the first cars to the hundreds that get caught in today’s traffic jams. There may also be some driving-related songs, and Burma Shave jingles.

The program will be held in the library’s community room; the library is at 182 Whisconier Road (Route 25). Registration for the free program is requested; call the library at 775-6241, or sign up at the Checkout Desk. The library’s Remembering series will continue on March 23 with “Remembering the Depression.”
