Above And Beyond
Above And Beyond
To the Editor:
My family relocated back to Texas after living for two years in Newtown. With the move, our house had to be sold. We contacted Cindy Pedalino at William Pitt Sothebyâs who introduced Lisa DeVellis as our listing agent. With Lisaâs help we had an offer within two weeks.
Preparation was made for an early January closing, but we were not ready for a frozen pipe and water damage five days before the closing, especially when we had already moved back to Houston. My heart pounded when Lisa called to break the news on a Saturday morning. I felt panic as I did not know where to start or what to do miles away. However, Lisa and Cindy reacted in a way I will never forget for it was all their effort and hard work that has made it possible to have the house back to shape and sold in less than six weeks after the incident. We did not have to go back to Newtown once to deal with contractors, Lisa took care of everything: from calling Kennyâs Oil to deliver fuel oil when needed, to making sure the paint color on the walls matched to what we had.
I have read that real estate companies award their top producer agents; however they should start awarding their agents for doing extraordinary work for their clients. If I could decide, Lisa would win such award.
