‘Herbs For The Nervous System’ Rescheduled To This Weekend

WASHINGTON — “Herbs for the Nervous System,” a workshop that had been scheduled for February 27 at The Institute for American Indian Studies, will instead be held this weekend. The workshop will run from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, February 21.

Stress is an everyday common complaint that many are dealing. Most Americans deal with stress and stressful situations on a daily basis. There is a plethora of herbs and holistic therapies that can help support the nervous systems that in turn allow humans to copy with stress, ultimately preventing many of the harmful effects stress can cause.

On Sunday, Herbalist and Flower Essence Practitioner Lupo Passero will explain stress and its role within health. She will share relaxing herbal remedies, essential oils and flower essences that will have you saying “ahhhh.”

Cost is $20 ($15 for IAIS members) and reservations are requested; call 860-868-0518. The institute is at 38 Curtis Road in Washington.
