Hearts From The Heart

To the Editor:

I would like to thank all the wonderful people who participated in the Newtown Woman’s Club, GFWC, Valentines for Veterans Program by depositing valentine cards in the collection boxes at the Booth Library.

It is always amazing to me how many people go out of their way to support this program. To those who remained anonymous and to those listed below, thank you. We collected and distributed over 1,000 valentines. The cards were mailed to Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C., Iraq, West Haven Veterans Hospital, and Rocky Hill Veteran’s Home and Hospital.
