Leverage Marketing Group Acquires Marketing Resources
Newtown-based Leverage Marketing Group, an integrated communications agency, recently acquired Brookfield-based Marketing Resources. The merger includes the company, its clients and management team.
Marketing Resources is a longtime Brookfield establishment that has expertise in television, radio, newspaper, outdoor advertising, and direct mail. Larry Neary headed the firm for 30 years and will be staying on to guide Leverageâs marketing initiatives as part of the acquisition. Most of Marketing Resources clients are Connecticut-based and represent the community banking and emerging technologies fields.
âLarry Neary is well respected in the community and a range of business audiences have come to know his work over the years,â said Tom Marks, CEO and general manager, Leverage Marketing Group.
Mr Neary maintains deep ties with the Connecticut Community Banking Association and has served as president of the New England Financial Marketing Association.Â

The combined firms will provide clients with a range of marketing expertise including social media integration, brand development and strategy and advertising, as well as a diversification of marketing tactics.
