Thomas Charles Johnson, 65, of Stratford, died at his loving home February 22, after a courageous battle with cancer. Son of the late Ernest Johnson and the late Anne Nemergut-Johnson, he was born and raised in Trumbull.

Mr Johnson is survived by two children, and two sisters, including Susan and Joseph Batcha of Sandy Hook; and nieces and nephews.

He was in the first graduating class from Trumbull High School. He was a repair and electrical engineer, and repaired and maintained computers on Wall Street. In his retirement he owned Venture Write, writing technical electronics books, and also became a music consultant, member of local bands, and a DJ. He was a lifetime member of the Pequonnock Yacht Club, and loved fishing, boating, gardening, camping, and antique cars.

Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, February 27, from 4 to 8 pm, at the Dennis & D’Arcy Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for Friday, February 26, at 11 am, at St Mark Church, Stratford. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
