Wallen Wants To Get Business Women ‘LinkedIn’

The Working Women’s Forum, an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs, will feature a talk entitled: “What is LinkedIn, and What Can It Do For You” by noted author Jan Wallen.

The program will be held Wednesday, March 10, at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook.

Ms Wallen is founder of LinkedIn Works, a New York-based sales and marketing firm, and author of the book Mastering LinkedIn in 7 Days or Less. She will discuss how to boost sales, find clients, and grow one’s business using LinkedIn.

Her presentation will also explain the top five things you must know about LinkedIn, the best way to develop your LinkedIn Profile to use as a handshake, and how to do precision marketing, plus much more.

Networking begins at 6 pm. The program and appetizer fee will be $10 for members, and $15 for nonmembers with a cash bar.

For reservations call Jan Brown at 203-426-8693, or email rsvp@workingwomensforum.net. The group will also be accepting canned food, personal health, and beauty items for the Newtown Food Pantry.
