Connecticut Home Show Is This Weekend

HARTFORD – The Home Builders Association (HBA) will present the 62nd Connecticut Home & Remodeling Show from February 27 to March 1 at the Connecticut Convention Center. This is the largest Connecticut and Southern New England home show with a floor space of 144,000 square feet and hundreds of exhibitors with over 585 standard size booths.

This event is a one-stop experience for homeowners and future homeowners to see the latest in home products and services. Attendees will enjoy a wide array of home improvement, building and remodeling exhibits featuring thousands of ideas for the home on the inside and out.

This year’s show will also feature a Midsummer Night’s Dreamscape – a 3,000 square foot nighttime lighting and landscape showcase sponsored by Connecticut Lighting Centers.

Doug Wilson, popular designer and host of TLC’s “Moving Up” and “Trading Spaces” will make an appearance on Saturday, February 28th

The Connecticut Convention Center is at 100 Columbus Blvd. in Hartford. The show runs from 4-9 pm on Friday; 10 am -9 pm on Saturday; and 10 am -5 pm. on Sunday. General admission is $10; $8 for ages 55 and up; and free for ages 17 and under. Discounted tickets are available for purchase online.

Convenient, secured and covered paid parking is available at the Connecticut Convention Center garage. Complimentary parking will be provided by Hartford Hospital at their Hudson Street parking lot, located between Jefferson and Park Streets.
