Janice Crowe Woodcock

Loving And Devoted

To Family

Janice (Crowe) Woodcock, 83, of Sandy Hook, wife of the late Kenneth L. Woodcock, died at Ashlar of Newtown, February 19. She was born in Dunkirk, N.Y., March 8, 1925, daughter of Frank and Alice (McGrath) Crowe.

Mrs Woodcock worked alongside her husband at Woodcock Nursery in Ridgefield, and also worked at Shelter Rock School for numerous years. She was a loving and devoted mother who enjoyed volunteering as Den Mother for her son’s Cub Scout Troop. She also loved to camp.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, Mark K. Woodcock and his wife, Wendy, of Shelton, and Scott J. Woodcock and his wife, Maureen, of New Milford; and her grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Alvin Crowe of Silver Creek, N.Y.; and her sister, Evie Carlson of Mayville, N.Y.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated February 26. Burial followed in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.
