‘Parent University’

Newtown Parent Connection will offer Parent University, Saturday, March 28, at the Newtown Middle School, a daylong event of workshops, speakers, and activities geared toward positive parenting. Offering laughter and insight from years of working with parents and students, Norm Bossio will deliver the keynote address, “Now That We Raised You, How Dare You Grow Up!”

Prior to founding Norm Bossio Enterprises, Mr Bossio served for 23 years as a teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools. For eight years, he was an adjunct faculty member and consultant to the management certificate program at Stonehill College near Boston.

Register online at NewtownParentConnection.org. Check-in is at 8 am, March 28, with a complimentary continental breakfast offered, followed by the day’s events. Babysitting is available, but children must be preregistered. All activities are free of charge, but workshop seating is limited.
