Head Oâ Meadow third grader Lyllie McBride had been pestering her parents for some time to let her donate her hair to Locks of Love. Her folks finally relented and on January 30 took her to Robert Anthonyâs Hair Salon where Jacquie Davis cut 13½ inches of Lyllieâs brown locks (before, on left: after, on right). While at the salon, Lyllie met a woman whose hair was just coming back after recently finishing chemotherapy. The lady explained to Lyllie how she had worn a wig during the treatments and how touched and proud she was of the young ladyâs decision to help others.
