It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our mom, Joanne J. Brown, on Friday, February 27, 2026. Born July 20, 1925, in Summitville, Ohio, she passed away peacefully at home in Sandy Hook with her family.

Joanne is succeeded by her children: David J. Brown, Michael J. Brown and Jennifer L Bonacci (Marc A Bonacci); grandchildren Gregory Brown, Kimberly Caraluzzi (Matthew Caraluzzi), Joseph Brown (Rebecca Brown), Jeffrey Brown (Isabella Brown), John M. Bonacci, Gina L. Desrochers (Kyle Desrochers) and Marc W. Bonacci; and great-grandchildren Joseph Brown, Matthew Brown, Gianna Brown, Chloe Caraluzzi, Landon Brown, Juliet Desrochers and Claire Desrochers.

We invite you to join us in remembering and honoring our Mother’s legacy on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 4:30 to 6:30 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown. Final resting place will be at Grove Hill Cemetery, Hanoverton, Ohio.
