Lawrence J. Galaske

Lawrence (Larry) J. Galaske, 55, of Southport, died February 28. Born in Southport, he was a lifelong town resident. He was the brother of Nell Kabusk and Clarence B. Galaske, both of Newtown, and Sylvia Molinari of California and Arizona.

Mr Galeske was a lobsterman on Long Island Sound. He loved art and writing poetry.

He is also survived by his loving and devoted fiancé, Elaine Bevans of Fairfield; his future brother-in-law, Robert Bevans of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Theodore (Tadj).

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 3, at Mt Grove Cemetery with the Rev John Baran officiating. Shaughnessey Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, Fairfield, was in charge of the arrangements.
