Postal Worker Says Goodbye

To the Editor:

I hate to say goodbye to my postal customers this way but without walking up to each of your businesses and houses it’s the only way feasible.

I’ve been a postal employee for 20 plus years, 18 of which were in Newtown. I served my route for 16 plus years and became friends with most of you. A bond was established with trust and dedication.

Due to various circumstances I feel unable to serve you with the same quality you deserve. With remorse I’ve elected to finish my working years outside the USPS. I wish you all the best and hope we remain in contact.
