Women’s Center Plans Financial Literacy Workshops

DANBURY — Women’s Center of Greater Danbury will host three financial literacy workshops on Saturday, March 6, 13, and 20, from 9 am to noon. The workshops are free to the public and will take place at the Community Room of the Women’s Center, 2 West Street.

Each workshop is designed to help women learn the practical skills to become financially independent. Speakers for the workshops represent community businesses such as The Savings Bank of Danbury, Ridgefield Bank, Ancona’s Market, Guardian Insurance, Families Network of Western Connecticut, Inc, Campeau Investment Management, as well as State Representative John Frey, The City of Danbury’s Office of Continuing Education, and Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton.
