Northern Fairfield Professionals is hosting its next meeting on March 10, 5:30-8 pm. The meeting will begin with 30 minutes of networking and a speaker presentation from 6-7:30 pm, and allow participants to network for another 30 minutes after the presentation. The meetings are held at Knights of Columbus of St Rose of Lima, 46 Church Hill Road.

This month’s speaker is Marty Latman, managing partner of Latman Advisory Services LLC. Latman is known as the “best networker” people know. Latman provides business consulting services to help organizations achieve their business goals and improve their profitability. He also provides mentoring and career coaching services to professionals. Latman teaches, trains, advises, and supports professionals in many industries and at all levels in the techniques they need to elevate their careers to a higher level.

Latman will present “Relationship Building to Advance Your Career,” an in-depth look at professional relationship building. The presentation will go over techniques and strategies to build and strengthen relationships with people professionals have met during networking events and in- and out-of-office activities. Latman will also show attendees how to turn a “cold contact” into a “warm referral,” as well as many other essential networking/job search tips.

Northern Fairfield Professionals is a free networking group that meets the second Tuesday of every month and usually has a guest speaker to discuss a topic of interest for business professionals or professionals looking for a job.
