Housatonic Habitat for Humanity has elected a new president, the Reverend Ann M. Beams of Dodgingtown Road in Dodgingtown.
Rev Beams, a Presbyterian minister, this month becomes a parish associate at Valley Presbyterian Church on West Whisconier Road in Brookfield.
Rev Beams takes over as Habitat president from Christie Davey, who has been president for the past three years.
At Habitatâs recent annual meeting at St James Episcopal Church in Danbury, the organization elected four new board members: Bernie Fitzpatrick, Maria Cristina Rodriguez, Dan MacRae, and Michael Morrissey.
Among its housing projects in area towns, Habitat has built two houses on Philo Curtis Road in Sandy Hook.
