Decisions On Newborn Issues

BRIDGEPORT —  “Healthcare Decisions On Newborn Issues” is the program of the next meeting of the “We Care” Perinatal Grief Support Group of St Vincent’s Medical Center On Wednesday, March 15 from 7 to 8:15 pm in St Vincent’s Ambulatory Infusion Center on the main level.

The presentation will feature Benjamin Teang, MD, Chief of Neonatology in St Vincent’s Pediatrics Department, who will discuss medical decisions that affect the life of a newborn.

The group, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month, is for those grieving the loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillborn, or newborn death.

The group is facilitated by both a chaplain and a counselor trained in the area of perinatal grief.

There is no charge for attendance, but pre-registration is requested.
