Giglio Speaks In Hartford

Susan Giglio, a Newtown resident and director of Healthy Families Network at Danbury Visiting Nurse Association, recently was invited to speak at a luncheon in Hartford hosted by the Children’s Trust Fund. Ms Giglio shared information about planning the Danbury Healthy Families Network and collaborating with the City of Danbury on the program’s implementation. Luncheon attendees included community providers hoping to establish a Healthy Families program in their area.

Healthy Families is a state-sponsored program aimed at supporting and educating first-time parents, and assists with accessing available community services. The Children’s Trust Fund is an independent state agency responsible for awarding funding to localities in Connecticut.
