New Black Belts In Town

Zachary Conger (Sempai Conger), left, and Rebecca Castegner (Sempai Castegner) both received their black belts during testing on February 25 at William Patterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. Zachary, 10, a fourth grade student at Sandy Hook Elementary School, and Rebecca, 8, a third-grade student from Sandy Hook Elementary School, have been training at Tiger Schulmann’s Karate school in Danbury – both since the age of five. With them are their instructors: Sensei Cardillo (left) and Sensei Hancock (right).
