Interfaith Conversations
MONROE â Monroe Congregational Church will host a special program, âInterfaith Conversations,â Sunday, March 18, at 7 pm.
Guest speaker will be Abdullah Antepli, a Muslim chaplin from Hartford Seminary.
Child care will be provided for infants through second graders.
The free public program will be presented at the church, at 34 Church Street. Call 268-9327 for details.
During the Lenten season MCC is also hosting Lenten soup suppers and discussions. The public is invited to a light soup and bread supper, followed by conversation around issues of economic justice (migrant workers, minimum-wage workers, housing, and the fair trade movement). Soup is served at 6:30 pm, with discussion from 7:15 to 8:15 pm.
These programs are on Wednesdays, March 14, 21, and 28.
The conversations will be led by Jenn Gingras and Judy Weindling. Child care is also provided.
