Herwig also tossed in four points for Solid. Beenish Ansari and Cara Colacurcio played well along with Rachel Fossum. For the Bengals, Katie Schmidt had eight points, four steals and four rebounds as Jen Greenwood dished off four assists.
Sarah Salbu poured in 20 points and Emily Fields grabbed 10 rebounds as Team Rupert slipped past Paul Anka, 26-24. Kristene Salbu dished off six assists. For Anka, Rachel Maley and Katie Kirrane tossed in eight points apiece as Olga Virgalla and Megan Rawson played well.
Hannah Tenenbaum and Jen Brill canned nine points apiece to lead Aqua Team to a 38-31 win over the Cornhuskers. Keegan Frobey, Casey McManus and Natalie Villa played well. For the âHuskers, Erin Nemeth popped in 10 points and Liz LaPerch added six. Caitlin Hansen (9 assists), Megan Hansen and Lauren Nemeth (7 rebounds) played well.
Katie Herwig scored 15 points and Amy Kelley added 14 more to lead Team Solid to a 41-23 win over Paul Anka. Melissa Mason, Tyler Nicoll, Beenish Ansari and Rachel Fossum all had great games. For Anka, Katie Kirrane tossed in nine points and Megan Rawson added six. Rachel Maley and Marnie Thompson played well.
Katie Schmidt dropped in eight points and Bethany Morin registered three steals to lead the Blue Bengals to a 20-11 win over the Cornhuskers. For the âHuskers, Bryony Langdon canned four points and Lauren Nemeth dished off three assists.
Hannah Tenenbaum poured in 20 points and Rose Jackman added eight to lift Aqua Team to a 44-33 win over Team Rupert. For Rupert, Rachel Cox had 15 points.
