Audubon-Hosted Hike

At Old Quarry This Weekend

DANBURY —      Lillinonah Audubon Society will host a nature walk at Old Quarry Nature Center in Danbury on Sunday, March 18, beginning at 1 pm.

It will be a leisurely walk through the most forested 40 acres, with the intent of finding small flocks of resident birds and spotting some of the plants that are easily identifiable in winter. Participants should bring binoculars, dress warmly, and wear sturdy shoes as the terrain can be rough at times.

The group will meet at the Rogers Park School, on Memorial Drive in Danbury.
