Celebrating Seuss

To the Editor:

The library celebrated the 100th anniversary of Dr Seuss’ birthday, March 2, with a green eggs and ham dinner and an original Shakespearian interpretation of his book on unusual food choices. The evening was a success due to the efforts of many.

Thanks to Marie Walker for her help in the kitchen. I would also like to thank Leland Kellogg and her C.H. Booth Players for their original skit. Thanks to the Library’s young adult council members who worked so hard before and after the party: Decorations and setup — Lauren Morrissey, chair, assisted by Katie Aiello, Kate Kelleher, Sammy Villa, Stephie Villa; Serving and cleanup — Dylan Kelleher, Kate Kelleher, Emily Lockhart, Lauren Morrissey.

And last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank my friend, the Cat in the Hat. I could not, would not, want to have a party without him.
