Purim: A Shared Celebration

To the Editor:

Congregation Adath Israel recently required space to conduct our annual Purim Carnival. Graciously, Reverend Terry Pfeiffer and the congregation of the Newtown Methodist Church offered their social hall for this occasion. We were warmly received by Reverend Pfeiffer and his parishioners and greatly enjoyed sharing our celebration with everyone.

Many thanks to the Newtown Methodist Church for welcoming us as members of the Newtown community. On behalf of Congregation Adath Israel, I thank them for their open generosity and eagerness to learn about our culture.  I hope a good time was had by all who attended the carnival!
