Steven Charles Platt

Steven Charles Platt, 22, of 181 Skyview Drive, Southbury, died March 5 in Waterbury.

Mr Platt was born in Danbury on May 6, 1981. He was a son of Gary and Maria (Vass) Platt of Southbury, formerly Newtown. He graduated from Pomperaug High School in 1999 and was employed as a technician for Charter Communications of Newtown for four years. He was a life-long Southbury resident and member of the United Church of Christ and its Senior Pilgrim Fellowship. He enjoyed computers and baseball.

Besides his parents, he leaves three brothers, Phil, Jon, and Jake, all of Southbury; his maternal grandfather, Steven Vass of Winter Haven, Fla.; his paternal grandmother, Rita Platt of Melbourne, Fla.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service was held March 10 at the United Church of Christ, Main Street North, Southbury. Burial will be private.
