Woman’s Club Planning A Rescue Demonstration

Newtown Woman’s Club (GFWC) will sponsor a fundraiser to benefit Connecticut Canine Search And Rescue (CCSAR) and Newtown Underwater Search And Rescue (NUSAR) at Dickinson Town Park on Elm Drive.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 20, from 11 am to 2 pm. Demonstrations of rescue techniques with underwater divers and rescue dogs are planned.

Admission is $5 for individuals, and $10 per family. The funds will be divided between the two groups, CCSAR and NUSAR. Free refreshments will be served.
