Due to a family event that pulled her away from town earlier this week, Superintendent of Schools Anne Uberti has rescheduled a community budget presentation originally planned for March 9.

The presentation has been rescheduled to Monday, March 16, at 6 pm. It will be offered in the Library Media Center at Reed Intermediate School, 3 Trades Lane.

Uberti will offer an overview of the proposed 2026-27 Board of Education budget, with time for Q&A to follow.

The special event is being hosted by Newtown Public Schools PTA/PTSA and SPED PTA. Reservations are not required.
