‘Jukebox Queen’ Author At WCSU

DANBURY — Novelist and poet Nicholas Rinaldi will read from his novel, The Jukebox Queen of Malta, and discuss his work at 8 pm on Tuesday, March 27, at Ruth A. Haas Library, on Western Connecticut State University’s Midtown Campus, 181 White Street.

The Jukebox Queen of Malta is a story of war and romance set on the remote island of Malta during World War II. A New York Times review said Mr. Rinaldi chiseled “a funny, melancholy, romantic, disturbing, character-rich window on the war.”

Admission is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Student & Visitor Lot, adjacent to the library, at the intersection of Hospital Avenue and Osborne Street, with additional parking in the White Street Garage. For more info, call 837-8628.
