Susan Kinsolving Will Talk

‘About Poetry’

ROXBURY — Susan Kinsolving, the author of the critically acclaimed book of poems Dailies & Rushes, will read her poems and discuss poetry on Sunday, April 1, at 2 pm, at Roxbury’s Minor Memorial Library as part of its popular “A Town Wants to Know” series of lectures.

A resident of Bridgewater, Ms Kinsolving has distinguished herself in the world of poetry across the country internationally. Her poems have appeared in many anthologies and journals, including The Paris Review, The Nation, Harvard Magazine, and other notable publications.

She has taught poetry at California Institute of the Arts and University of Connecticut and has lectured and read poetry, including her own, worldwide at schools, clubs, and libraries.

The Library Journal named Dailies & Rushes the winner of its “Best Poetry of 1999” book award. The book was also nominated for the National Book Critics Circle Award 2000 in addition to receiving critical acclaim by The New York Times, The New Yorker and The Wall Street Journal, among others.

Ms Kinsolving will be available to sign copies of her book at a reception hosted by the library following her presentation.
