Correction

In the March 2 edition of The Newtown Bee, a story on budget deliberations reflected anticipated savings on municipal and school district insurance benefit programs at approximately $360,000 and $1 million respectively. Those rates are actually the anticipated increases in those benefit plans, which the town hopes to reduce by some degree through negotiations with the benefit carrier prior to the final ratification of the budget proposal by the Legislative Council.
