Lived Life To The Fullest
Don C. Stanziale, Sr, 75, of Boca Raton, Fla., beloved husband to Constance Stanziale for more than 30 years, died March 10 at Hospice by the Sea, Boca Raton, with his loving family by his side. The Stanziales resided in Boca Raton for more than 12 years, though were formerly longtime residents of Connecticut. Mr Stanziale was the son of Dom and Nina Stanziale.
He is survived by his wife, Constance; children Robert Frate and wife, Valerie, of Newtown, Leonard Stanziale and fiancée, Alesia DiFederico, of Southbury, Alfred Stanziale and wife, Denise, of Trumbull, Marie (Stanziale) Noack and husband, Steven, of Houston, Texas, Don C. Stanziale, Jr, and wife, Kim, of Shelton, Miles Frate, Jr, and wife, Donna, of Oxford, Bruce Frate and wife, Laura, of Shelton, and Leanne Frate and companion, Karl, of Ansonia; a sister Janet (Maricondo) Ambrose and husband, Robert, of Stratford; grandchildren, Nicole M., Alesia, Nicole J., Danielle, Don III, Dominique, Jay Jay, Pedro, Chelsea, Amy, Bruce Jr, Alyssa, Rian, and Shayne; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents, Mr Stanziale was predeceased by two grandchildren, Jacqueline Lewis and Lindsay Frate.
In his early years, Mr Stanziale was a major drywall contractor in business with his father. In 1965 he established Midland Development Company and his passion for home building earned him a reputation as a prominent homebuilder and developer in Fairfield County for more than 40 years. Midland Development Company is now owned and operated by his son, Don C. Stanziale, Jr. He was an avid golfer, enjoying music and playing his guitar during his lifetime.
He loved retirement, traveling with his wife, cooking special meals, and spending time with his family and friends. Mr Stanziale lived his life to the fullest and inspired many. He will be sadly missed by all who have known him.
Funeral services were scheduled for Thursday, March 15. Internment was at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, was in charge of arrangements.
