Missing Man Calls Home; Removed From List

Police said this week that a local man who had been reported missing since February 17, has called his family to tell them that he is all right.

Police said Dean Czaplicki, 36, of Timbermill Road in Sandy Hook called his family to let them know that there is no problem. Czaplicki was then taken off the police’s missing persons list on March 8.

Before he had been reported missing to police by his mother, Czaplicki had last been seen about 2 am on February 17 at the Pier 34 nightclub on Route 34 in Seymour, according to police.
