Campus Notes

Ryan Braun, a 200 graduate of Newtown High School, recently performed as King Charlemagne in Dartmouth College Harlequins’ production of Pippin in the school’s Spaulding auditorium. Ryan’s previous roles with the Harlequins have included Al in A Chorus Line and Senex in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Ryan, a senior biology major with a concentration in premedical studies, is a member of Dartmouth’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and president of the all-male a cappella group, the Dartmouth Chords.

Martin Schnurr of Sandy Hook, Timothy Murtha, Meridith Palo and Morgan Hopkins, all students at the Canterbury School in New Milford, earned Honors for the third marking period.

The following students received Dean’s List honors for the fall 2003 semester:

George Frederick O’ Donnell of Sandy Hook and Caroline Bliss Kunkel, both first-year student at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Penn.; Christopher C. Giacolone and Catherine N. Mather from Trinity College in Hartford; and Thomas Malloy from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass.

Michael Sciaretto, son of Mary Ellen Sciaretto of Newtown and David Sciaretto of Norwalk, recently earned highest honors for the fall semester from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
